Community Engagement Professional Credentialing Program: Core Micro-Credentials
Description

Campus Compact’s Community Engagement Professional Credentialing Program provides civic and community engagement professionals (CEPs) the opportunity to gain formal recognition for the knowledge and skills they develop through their careers. It is also encourages and directs CEPs  toward ongoing professional learning activities that foster reflective, inclusive, and equity-focused partnerships and commitments.

Professionals may apply for and earn individual micro-credentials--digital certificates recognizing knowledge, skills, experience, and critical commitments--that demonstrate their mastery in each core competency area. Each micro-credential is granted individually and has integrity and value in its own right. Ultimately, professionals are able to combine individual micro-credentials earned across a range of competency areas to seek full credentialed status as a Campus Compact-certified community engagement professional.

To qualify for full certification as a Campus Compact Certified CEP, an individual must earn each of the four (4) core micro-credentials (Community Engagement Fundamentals, Program Administration, Equity & Inclusion, and Community Partnerships) as well as at least two (2) elective micro-credentials (you may apply for elective credentials here).

There are currently two (2) core micro-credential available to earn: Community Engagement Fundamentals and Community Partnerships. Click the "Apply" button to begin your application for either of the two available core micro-credentials.
